A MMA middleweight from Hattiesburg MS, fighting out of Atlanta Ga. In
Hester's early life he played baseball and football at McEachern high school
located in powder springs Ga. Upon graduating from HS his plans of playing
collegiate sports fell through. So he decided to work and work to go in to the
military, but before this happened Hester found a small boxing gym located in
Marietta Ga. This is when his fight career began. Training under like of former
middleweight contender Willie D'antignac he built up an amateur boxing record
of 13-3. The gym closed down and Hester and his coach bounced around until
they found x3 sports also in Marietta. Time went by and the plan of becoming a
champion boxer took a wrong turn because of a few losses. With that mishap
and the fact that coach D had to quit training Hester to take care of his sick
wife Hester decided to try MMA. Where he started off a 3-0 record, winning all
by KO. Now Hester is a solid 7-3 and was selected to fight to get into the
ultimate fighter house which will air on FX on Jan. 22nd at 8pm ET. Check it
